Ghana’s Covid-19 case count has seen a further reduction in the number of active cases under care and management at facilities and homes spread across the country
In the latest update released by the Ghana Health Service on Friday, 447 new cases were confirmed.
This shoots the total cumulative cases up from 26,125 to 26,572.
There were more patients who either recovered and were discharged as their number is now 22,915, an increase of about 645.
Five persons, however, lost the battle to the virus, bringing the total number of deaths since the outbreak to 144.
