Ghana has recorded 14 more deaths from the coronavirus disease.
In the latest update given by the Disease Surveillance Department of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Thursday, July 30, the deaths have risen from 168 to 182.
It jumped to 175 by the update on the Service’s website before the Director General announced at the Ministry of Information’s bi-weekly press meeting that the deaths are now 182.
A total of of 1,095 new cases were recorded on Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28.
“These are samples that were taken from the period 7 to 26 July 2020 as seen Figure 8 but reported from the lab on July 27,” the Service said on its website.

By the latest case count, the total cumulative cases have risen to 35,501.
The recoveries-cum-discharges are now 32,096.
This leaves the active cases at 3,223.
Out of these active cases, 23 are “severe” cases while six are in critical conditions with four on ventilators.
So far, the country has run 387,336 tests.
