Sarina Wiegman was left speechless. The Lionesses’ head coach had just led England to their second straight European title after defeating Spain in the Euro 2025 final.

Following back-to-back success at the Women’s Euros, the celebrations took them to Buckingham Palace.

But nothing could prepare Wiegman for what came next. As she stood on stage, presenter Alex Scott grabbed the mic. She reminded the crowd of Wiegman’s words after Euro 2022, as noted by the Sun.

“Three years ago in Trafalgar Square you said, ‘I’m not ready to dance, the music was not quite right,’” Scott recalled.

Then came the bombshell.

“We know who your favourite artist is… he’s in the building! Give it up for Burna Boy!”

The Dutch coach froze in shock.

“Oh, no way!” she screamed, hands on her head.

From the side of the stage, Burna Boy appeared. Wiegman ran straight to him and wrapped him in a hug. The moment was pure joy.

They stood arm-in-arm as his hit For Your Hand played, her personal favourite.

Wiegman, known for her calm and composed demeanour, broke into dance. She swayed, laughed, and even sang along.

“I like it!” she shouted into her mic, beaming.

It was a rare and heartwarming sight. The celebrations, already grand, now had a personal touch.

Who is Burna Boy?

Burna Boy, a global Afrobeat sensation, boasts 25 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He’s known for tracks like Last Last and Own It, the latter featuring Stormzy and Ed Sheeran.

He also commands a massive social media following, with over 18 million fans on Instagram.

But on this day, it was all about one fan—Sarina Wiegman. And her unexpected dance made the victory even sweeter.
