President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has consoled families who lost relatives in last Tuesday’s church collapse at Akyem Batabi in the Eastern Region. The uncompleted six-storey building, which belongs to The Church of Prosperity with Prophet Akoa Isaac as spiritual leader, collapsed while about 60 members were worshiping. Rescue operations led by the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) since Tuesday have seen 17 dead bodies retrieved from the rubble as of Thursday, October 22. Eight persons, also rescued, are receiving treatment at the Oda Government Hospital. President Akufo-Addo, in a tweet, wished them well. https://twitter.com/NAkufoAddo/status/1319228045098651650?s=20 By Emmanuel Kwame Amoh|3news.com|Ghana Follow @kwame_amoh]]>
