A delegation from the UK Parliament’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for Ghana (APPG) on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Members of Ghana’s Parliament who serve in the Ghana-UK Parliamentary Friendship Association.
Led by APPG Chair Bell Ribeiro-Addy, the visiting team also included Dianne Abbott, the first Black woman elected to the UK Parliament.

Talks centered on boosting trade, expanding value addition in Ghana’s agricultural sector, strengthening air transport links and deepening long-standing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation was received by Collins Adomako-Mensah, chair of the Ghana-UK Parliamentary Friendship Association, along with other Ghanaian MPs.
