The Yendi Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the temporary closure of all schools in the municipality following the death of the Overlord of Dagbon, Ya-Na Abukari Mahama II. The sad incident occurred over the weekend but was announced on Monday, July 13 by the Naa Gbewa Palace. He has since been buried. Law enforcement officers have arrested former Chief Executive Officer of the National Food and Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO) Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba at the Accra International Airport, according to a statement issued by Deputy Minister of Justice, Justice Srem-Sai.
