The police in the Eastern Region have arrested two students who are said to have been involved in the gang-rape of a student of Osino Senior High School during the inter-schools competition. The incident is said to have happened near the Koforidua Sports Stadium, where the sports competition took place. According to the Eastern Regional Police Command, the two students have admitted involvement in the crime while a third, believed to be an old student, is on the run. Government has paid the first-term feeding grant to caterers under the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) in all the 16 regions. ‎‎ This was done through the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection .
