Zlatan Ibrahimovic has accepted a three-match ban for violent conduct for elbowing Bournemouth’s Tyrone Mings during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South, Alfred Okoe Vanderpujie, has called for the constitutional amendment to increase the tenure of the President to a “six- year one term” of office. Countries targeted under a new US travel ban passed by President Donald Trump have attacked the move, along with the United Nations. On Monday, President Trump signed a new executive order placing a 90-day ban on people from six mainly Muslim nations. The order was presented as a means to strengthen US national security against terror threats. On Tuesday however, two of the countries, Sudan and Somalia, said the move was unjustified. Frenchman Sebastien Migne has replaced compatriot Pierre Lechantre as coach of Congo Brazzaville. Migne, 44, has previously worked as Claude LeRoy’s assistant at both Congo and Togo. It is a swift return to the 1972 African champions for Migne, who worked as LeRoy’s assistant with the Red Devils until November 2015. Congo had been without a permanent coach since Lechantre was sacked in November 2016. Residents of towns along the Kumasi-Yeji highway are complaining that the police are not doing their best to foil, or better still prevent, incessant robbery attacks on the stretch. On Monday, March 6, a prison officer was shot dead by highway robbers while one officer was left in critical condition. Residents say the attacks are becoming almost a daily occurrence on the stretch.
