President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in time for the 2026 World Governments Summit (WGS). President Mahama left Ghana on Sunday following a special invitation of the Ruler of UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan. He touched down in Dubai in a special aircraft arranged by Sheikh al Nahyan. Accompanied by First Lady, Lordina Mahama, President Mahama is expected to participate in the WGS, which begins on Monday and ends on Wednesday, February 4.
