A Michigan family removed from an American Airlines flight in Miami when staff claimed they had body odour are suing the airline. Yehuda Yosef Adler, his wife Jennie and their young daughter were removed from the flight to Detroit last January. They claim staff made comments about their Orthodox Jewish faith. American Airlines said the decision to remove the family was not based on religion. They claim customers complained about Mr Adler’s odour. Kenya’s High Court has halted a controversial biometric ID scheme until new data protection laws are enacted. Sensitive information, such as contact details, fingerprints and a person’s profession, was collected last year. The idea was to integrate all the data the government has about an individual on various systems under one overarching ID number. The judges ruled the move was constitutional as long as that information was properly protected. A data protection act was passed in November, which will see the creation of a data commission. Patronage of train service between Takoradi and Tarkwa has increased after just three days of the commissioning of service. A Train Guard, Samuel Anguh, has told 3news.com that on Tuesday when the Ghana Railway Company Limited commenced passenger service, they recorded a total of 191 people. After the government’s botched All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) deal that would have seen Ghana host the event for three years, artiste manager Bulldog has noted that the move was a stupid one. Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram Constituency Samuel Nartey George has hinted that he and the other victims of the January 31, 2019 Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence will file a suit against government over its decision not to implement the Emile Short Commission report. The Ghana Railways Company Limited has confirmed the return train from Tarkwa to Takoradi on Thursday experienced a minor challenge at Nsuta in the Tarkwa Nsueam Municipality of the Western Region. The company, however, says the challenge was resolved for the train to proceed safely back to Takoradi minutes after the incident. “When we got to Nsuta the coach carrying goods experienced a technical hitch and so we had to stop.
