In a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Israeli Defence Force (IDF) and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), a team of seven officers is scheduled to arrive in Ghana to hold a three-day counter-terrorism training to the Ghana Armed Forces’ 64 Regiment Special Unit. This special collaboration between the IDF and GAF is led by the Israeli and Ghanaian Chiefs of Defence Staff and Ministers of Defence. Magistrate at the Donkorkrom Magistrate Court His Worship Augustine Akusar-Am has slapped two women with a 12-month bond of good behaviour each for selling poisonous puffer fish. The two were arrested and arraigned before court on Thursday for selling puffer fish, which reportedly killed a few people after consumption. The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has stated that its Chief Executive Officer, Dr  Kofi Kodua Sarpong, was not part of a search committee tasked to get suitable offices and accommodation for the company in Sekondi-Takoradi.
