It is believed the city did not met the criteria set by the Commonwealth Games Federation and an announcement is expected later on Monday. Teenage swimmer Abeiku Gyekye Jackson has set new national records in 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke events at a school’s competition. Abeiku Jackson set the records at the Lincoln Community School over the weekend. The 16-year-old competed for Ghana at the 2016 Olympic Games as the first Ghanaian swimmer at the global event.
