Ghana on Monday, February 6 began oral argument over the maritime border dispute case against neighbours La Cote d’Ivoire. The oral presentation is the beginning of a 10-day public hearing at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea(ITLOS) in Hamburg, Germany. Members of the Coalition of Unemployed Diploma Nurses and Midwives want to be posted before any contract is discussed as regards finances. Most of the members have been without stations since August, 2016 when they completed their national service. This batch of nurses and midwives completed their training in February, 2015. Some subscribers of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) in the Tamale Metropolis and Sagnerigu District were left stranded on Monday as the offices of the National Health Insurance Authority remained under lock. An average of 600 subscribers are attended to daily at the metropolitan office in Tamale. Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the parliament to extend his medical leave in the UK, amid concerns that his health may be worse than officials are publicly saying. The 74-year-old leader, who has been out of the country for two weeks, was expected to return to Abuja on Sunday. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed a former Member of Parliament for Yagaba/Kubori Constituency, Mustapha Ussif, as Executive Director of the National Service Scheme. Mr Ussif is expected to assume an acting role from Monday, February 6, pending the constitutional approval of the National Service Board. The LG Ultrafine 5K monitor costs almost £900 and is promoted as an external display for Mac devices.
