This follows the Ghana Federation of Disability making known its displeasure over the lack of a sign language interpreter at President Akufo-Addo’s media encounter on Tuesday. The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in Accra has warned against the over reliance on pesticides in the treatment of the fall armyworm infestation currently devastating large portions of agricultural crops and land in Ghana. “Many of the list of pesticides sent out to farmers may have to be revised. The Electricity Company of Ghana has been accused of contributing to illegal mining activities, popularly known as galamsey, in the country.
