A month-old baby girl has been burnt death in a fire outbreak at the Navrongo Police barracks in the Upper East Region. The mother of the child, a police officer, was attending to nature’s call about 50 metres away from the barracks when their room caught fire at about 3:30pm Sunday Two rooms were affected by the fire which was said to have started from one of the rooms. A gang of five alleged to have been attacking forest guards at Nkawie in the Atwima Nwabiagya district have been arrested. After a five-month hunt, the suspects were arrested at Nyinahin where the gang leader resides.
