Attorney General-designate Gloria Akuffo says she will take a second look at the file of businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome as regards the GH¢52.1 million judgement debt case of 2012 if her nomination is approved. “When I get there, I will study the file and see how quickly we can get the money,” Ms Akuffo said. The Gambia’s long-term leader Yahya Jammeh says he will step down, after refusing to accept defeat in elections. In an announcement on state TV, he said it was “not necessary that a single drop of blood be shed”. The statement followed hours of talks between Mr Jammeh and West African mediators.
