We will not impose factories on districts in carrying out the one-district-one-factory policy. That’s according to the Regional Minister-designate for the Eastern region. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the 2016 election campaigns promised to establish a factory in every district across the country, as an avenue for creating employment for the many unemployed youth in the country. Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has scheduled a meeting with the Commissioner General of the Ghana Revenue Authority, George Blankson, who has applied to proceed on leave as he quits the job, deep-throat sources have told 3News.
