A police officer has been shot dead at Croydon Custody Centre in south London. The male officer was shot in the chest when a man, who was being detained, produced a weapon during a search. The Ministry of Education has announced that a committee headed by Prof. Dominic Fobih, a former Minister of Education, to advise on matters relating to the reopening of schools for the 2020/21 academic year has submitted its report to the Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
