Stock markets in Asia suffered on Tuesday from the fallout from UK and US investors worried about a rise in coronavirus cases. Australia, Hong Kong, China and South Korea stock markets were all down. Investors were also rattled by dimming hopes for more financial support for the US economy. The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC), has rejected reports that it is printing new voter’s card after the registration exercise. Former President John Dramani Mahama has said the Akufo-Addo administration played ‘sakawa’ game with customers of the collapsed banks and finance companies. Kenya’s Chief Justice David Maraga has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve parliament because it does not have enough female MPs. In a letter to Mr Kenyatta, the chief justice said the failure to have more female MPs was in breach of the constitution, and tantamount to discrimination against women.
