Amnesty International Ghana, has condemned what it terms “untimely and insensitive” demolition exercise in one of Accra’s biggest slums, Old Fadama, specifically at the Bimbila Station. Ghana has made gains in its covid-19 fight in the last 24 hours as the country on Wednesday recorded a significant number of recoveries from the deadly virus with marginal new infections. Just a day after 17 persons diagnosed with the virus were cleared as clinically cured, another batch of 66 persons have also been cured bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 83 as at April 15.
