The visit was to pay homage to the Chief Imam as part of his centenary celebrations.

He said assured that “this won’t be my last and I pray to the Almighty God to continue to give you good health and long life so that we can continue to visit you”.

In a warm and lively conversation with the Chief Imam, Kojo Antwi recalled with nostalgia his days as a young boy growing up at nearby Darkuman and  playing around the home of the Chief Imam.

He described the Chief Imam as a symbol of peace, whose modest lifestyle and humility should be emulated.

Chief Imam Sheikh Osman expressed his sincere appreciation to Kojo Antwi for the visit and the birthday presents he gave him.

The maestro took the opportunity to present among others, a beautiful hand-made portrait of the Chief Imam.

Sheikh Sharubutu prayed for the ‘Music Man’ to live longer than himself.
