Popular Ghanaian prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah has told Onua 95.1 FM that he had a revelation about Ebony’s death last year and asked her to inform him about all of her itinerary.
But he said Ebony didn’t inform him about her recent deadly trip to the Brong Ahafo Region.
Speaking to Christian Agyei Frimpong, the host of entertainment talk show Anigye Mmre, Rev Dr Owusu Bempah said he invited Ebony to his house after he had a revelation about her when he was listening to her being interviewed by radio presenter Abeiku Santana.
“When I first met Ebony, I gave her a Bible,” the man of God said. “I told her about the danger ahead of her. I asked her if she is a Christian and attends church and her answer was ‘Yes’.”
Speaking in local language Twi, the head pastor of the Glorious Word Ministry International added: “I told her to inform me anytime she wants to travel so I can pray for her.”
“I stopped her on many of her travelling to perform at lots of events last year.
“I’m shocked she couldn’t call to inform me on this one. I called her several times the day of the incident but she couldn’t answer all my calls.”
Real name Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, Ebony died while returning from Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.
The jeep she was travelling in crashed into a VIP bus on Thursday, February 8, according to police.
