The case by former Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Esaba Sackey Torkornoo taken to the courts of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has been dismissed.
Madam Torkornoo had prayed the courts to enjoin the government of Ghana, particularly President John Dramani Mahama, to reinstate her as she claimed her removal from office following a suspension was arbitrary, unfair and a violation of her human rights.
She noted that her removal, among others, had subjected her to public ridicule.
But in a ruling on Wednesday, June 24, the courts noted that there was no evidence of bias or motivation of ill-will by the committee set up to investigate a petition filed for her removal.
The courts also said the President held no ill-will in following through the report of the committee.
