Kwadwo Asamoah will start in the probable line-up

Inter Milan will go all-out when they face Borussia Dortmund at San Siro Stadium on Wednesday night.

Pressure lies on Antonio Conte’s head as his side has failed to win a Champions League game this season. In order not to succumb to the last place in Group F, the manager will have to get his tactics right when his men meet Dortumund.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortumund sits on top of Group F with four points but not comfortably. The German club has the same points as Barcelona and to maintain the lead, all three points must be attained.

As the Europa League knocks on the door, will Inter Milan put their all in this game and claim the maximum points or will Borussia Dortumund push the Nerazzurri closer to the Europa League by securing a win.

When is the match taking place and where?

Kick-off: 7pm

Venue: San Siro

Date: October 23, 2019

Head-to-Head record

With two wins, a draw, and a loss in European competitions, it is safe to say history favours Inter.

African players to feature

Inter Milan

Kwadwo Asamoah of Ghana has played 90 minutes in all Inter Milan’s Champions League games. In those two games, he has recovered 5 balls, made two clearances and his bid to defend his team from conceding, he got a yellow card. However, he is yet to keep a clean sheet and this is fast becoming a complication for Antonio Conte.

Borussia Dortumund

Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi is already ablaze in the European competition. He has scored two goals in two matches and has the capacity to do more in this game. Match day 3 is here and the defender is sure to keep the back solid as usual. Dortumund coach, Lucien Favre’s faith in Hakimi is producing amazing result as the defender is yet to concede a goal in the Champions League this season.

Team News

Inter

D’Ambrosio, Sánchez and Sensi will not feature in this game due to injury.

Borussia Dortumund

Three players, Bürki, Alcácer and Götze will miss the game because of knee injury, Achilles injury and cold respectively.

Predicted Inter Milan XI: Handanovič, Godín, De Vrij, Škriniar; Candreva, Barella, Brozović, Vecino, Asamoah, Lukaku, Lautaro

Predicted Dortmund XI:  Hitz, Akanji, Hummels, Weigl, Schulz; Delaney, Witsel, Hazard, Reus, Hakimi; Brandt
