New Minister for Defence Kenneth Gilbert Adjei has expressed profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the confidence reposed in him during his tenure as Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources.
In a statement issued following the President’s reassignment of ministers, Mr Adjei described his time at the Works Ministry as one of service, learning, collaboration, and commitment to delivering on the mandate entrusted to the sector.
He extended his deepest appreciation to the staff of the Ministry for their hard work, professionalism, and unwavering support, saying the progress achieved would not have been possible without their sacrifice.
On his new assignment at the Ministry of Defence, Mr Adjei said he takes on the responsibility with humility, renewed energy, and a deep sense of duty.
He expressed optimism about the road ahead and said he looks forward to contributing meaningfully to efforts to build a stronger and more secure Ghana.
He thanked the people of Ghana for their continued support, goodwill, and prayers, describing their encouragement as a source of strength in the country’s service.
