Medeama SC’s unbeaten run came to an end at Ghana’s version of Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, where Dreams FC pipped them by a lone goal.

The game was a Week 5 fixture and the Tarkwa-based side wanted to match Berekum Chelsea, which is the only side yet to taste defeat and even concede in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

Issah Ibrahim’s strike under 10 minutes of play was the goal that separated the two sides at Dawu.

In Dansoman, Hearts of Oak managed to come from 0-1 down at the Carl Reindorf Park to beat Liberty Professionals 2-1.

It is the second victory in a row for the Phobians, who had begun the season with losses much to the chagrin of their teeming supporters.

Asante Kotoko had to serve the first of a five-game home ban at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, coming through with a 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs.

Matthew Anim Cudoe and Richard Arthur were the scorers for the Porcupine Warriors, who until Sunday had gone two games without at least point.

Below are the full results from Sunday’s games:

Aduana Stars 2-0 Legon Cities FC

Asante Kotoko 2-0 Ebusua Dwarfs

Dreams FC 1-0 Medeama SC

Elmina Sharks 1-1 Great Olympics

Inter Allies 1-1 WAFA

Karela United 1-1 King Faisal Babes

Liberty Profs 1-2 Hearts of Oak
