The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is holding its third Delegates Conference today, December 22, 2019 since assuming power in 2017.
The Conference is taking place at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair centre in Accra.
Founding fathers of the party, government appointees, Members of Parliament and thousands of party faithfuls will assemble for deliberations and new directions for the party ahead of the 2020 General Elections.
A number of activities including a church service and a rally will be carried out as part of the Conference.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and some other party stalwarts are expected to address the rally, while goodwill messages would be taken from representatives of other political parties.
The theme for the Conference ‘We have performed better-4more to do more” is geared towards rehashing some achievements of the NPP government while asking Ghanaians to vote the party in the 2020 elections to retain power and serve four more years.
