Eighteen teams will be gunning for a win when they face each other on Week 7 of the Ghana Premier League.
Second placed Aduana Stars will host third-placed Medeama at the Agyeman Badu Stadium. Medeama coach Samuel Boadu will have a lot of work to do since statistics does not favour his team in away games this season. They have played three games away and won just one and they come up against Aduana who have won all their home games.
Since 2010, the two clubs seem to be fuelling their rivalry as they have clashed 17 times with Medeama winning six times and Aduana having a slight advantage with seven wins. Aduana will utter prayers for the leading goal scorer in the League, Yahaya Mohammed, to score for them to grab another win.
Legon Cities recorded their first win against Bechem United but it was not to be for them as they travelled to the Western Region to meet Karela Utd. They fell 0-3 on Friday.
King Faisal seem to be on the road to relegation as they remain the only side left to win a game this season. And their lot remained the same as Inter Allies beat them 4-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the early kick-off on Friday.
After recording a resounding victory against archrivals Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko will play against Liberty Professionals and Dreams FC will welcome Hearts of Oak.
Below are the results/fixtures for Week 7:
Karela 3-0 Legon Cities
Inter Allies 4-2 King Faisal
Elmina Sharks v Eleven Wonders
Ashanti Gold v Ebusua Dwarfs
Aduana Stars v Medeama
Great Olympics v WAFA
Bechem United v Berekum Chelsea
Asante Kotoko v Liberty
Dreams FC v Hearts of Oak
