The Ledzokuku Constituency, Tema Metropolitan Assembly, Tema Traditional Council, Osu Children’s Home, National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO)- Adenta District, Methodist Church- Achimota, The Ark Foundation and Mirio-Gh Foundation have so far benefited from the programme.

Others are the Children and Teens in Worship Foundation, Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital, Ghana Prisons Service, The Apostolic Church -Ashiaman, Tema Manhean Polyclinic, Christ Church of Faith and the Assemblies of God Church, Faith Assembly Nungua.

Products donated to these institutions by Unilever included Key Brillant soap, BF Soap, Sunlight Powder and Dish washing soap, Glen Tea, Pepsodent, Lipton Green Tea and Rexona Roll-on.

The company said in a statement Friday that it “stands with the good people of Ghana through these trying times when all are united in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus disease”.

Head of Communications and Sustainability Lead of Unilever Ghana, Henry Herbert Malm, said this is the company’s way of bringing support to the doorstep of as many Ghanaians as possible.

“Unilever Ghana implores the good people of Ghana to endeavor to adhere to the safety and health protocols outlined and announced by the government, and to commit, at a personal level, to keep safe always,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr Malm has wished all Muslims a happy Ramadan and Eid Ul Fitr.
