Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey was at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday to pay his “personal respects” to Leicester City’s billionaire owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
It was a sad moment for the defender, who had suffered an injury in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with West Ham United.
He was in crutches as he joined players like Jamie Vardy to pay tribute on Tuesday.
Khun Vichai’s helicopter crashed near the Stadium’s car park and caught fire on Saturday, leaving all five aboard dead.
Bouquets and scarves have been left in front King Power Stadium since news of the 60-year-old, two members of his staff, the pilot and a passenger broke.

Amartey had paid tribute to Vichai on Monday after undergoing surgery on his injury.
Came out of a successful surgery, but devastating news about the demise of our chairman. A generous man, to whom @LCFC owes everything. I’m sure, you’re in a much better place. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and the families of the victims affected by this tragedy pic.twitter.com/Vz7cfJgv4t

The Foxes’ League Cup game against Southampton on Tuesday was postponed to allow the club ample time to mourn its loss.
The English Premier League game at Cardiff City on Saturday, November 3 will, however, be played.
