The 2019 AFCON which comes to an end this Friday has coughed up lots of incidents; the goals, the misses, the blunders and the questionable tactics of players and coaches.
But beyond these are the fans in the stands who add a flavour to the games with their eccentric dramatis personae.
From hideous caricatures, to painted make-ups , large wigs and cowries, each assembly enthusiastically represented their countries.
Fans of the host nation , Egypt registered their appearance with their large red flags and jerseys accompanied with vigorous chants .
Such was also the frenzy of Ghanaian fans who supported their players with loud chanting of jama songs.
The malls, markets , shops and restaurants burst with hopeful fans from the participating nations.
For some fans, it was a great platform to display their rich culture and history and embraced different cultures all in the bid to see their countries win.
Like confetti , these colorful fans decorated Egypt and gave AFCON 2019 the face beat it needed.
