The ongoing nationwide exhibition of the voters register has been extended for three more days.
The exercise which began on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 was originally scheduled to end on September 17.
But the electoral body in a press release on Saturday said it has “extended the period for the exhibition of the voters register from Tuesday, 17th September to Friday, 20th September, 2019.”
Persons who registered from 2012 to 2019 are expected to check their names and particulars at their designated exhibition centres throughout the country, the Commission advised.
“Registered voters are expected to provide information to help expunge the names of the dead as well as unqualified persons from the Voters Register.”
The Commission also appealed to all stakeholders to cooperate with its operatives on the field to make the exercise successful.
