Spokesperson of the Bawumia campaign team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye has said that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the only party to have given Ghanaians a reason to join the queue to vote in this year’s election.
To him, the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has outlined clear policy proposals to address the challenges facing Ghanaians.
In a post on his Facebook page, he said “NPP remains the only party that has given the people clear reasons to vote. Reasons hinged on solutions to specific challenges of the people.
“The people clearly acknowledge the challenges in recent times but are confident the best hands to manage things going into the future remains Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.”
Dr Bawumia has made a number of promises ahead of the December 7 general elections.
For instance, as part of measures to address the impact of tidal waves, he has promised to construct a mini harbour for the people of Sege to build a sea defense project and also a mini harbour for them.
Dr Bawumia said this when speaking to a gathering of chiefs, traditional leaders, and the people of Sege during his tour of the Greater Accra Region, on Wednesday, September 18.
“We need a mini-harbour. So we are going to work on bringing a mini harbour to Sege here for you and that is a very important thing. And then, of course, very important, we need to do the sea defence for this area.
“So I have a lot to do for you. If I come back in four years, I will have to give an account of what I have done with the sea defence,” he said.
In a subsequent post on his Facebook page, Dr Bawumia said “I am grateful to the chiefs and other stakeholders for the invaluable advice they offered on a more collaborative approach to national development.”
