The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that there will be outages in parts of the Greater Accra Region including Team as it embarks on maintenance works.
According to the nation’s power-distribution company, the exercise is to improve service delivery.
In a notice on Saturday, September 19, the maintenance works will commence from 9:30am to 5:30pm on Sunday, September 20.
The areas to be affected are Police Depot, Texans, Abeka Junction, Caprice, Army Wireless, North Kaneshie, Santana Market and parts of Alajo.
The others are Abeka Free Pipe, Achobo Best, Romarong, Tema Kwame, Manya Jokoanya, Kpone Kokompe and surrounding areas.
Some industries in North Industrial Area a d Tema Industrial Area will be affected by this exercise.
They include Forewin Ghana Ltd, Panasonic, Polytex, Poly Craft, Piccadilly, Top Packaging, Deco Plast, Burger King, Volta Garments and Gihoc Distillery.
Those in Tema are Auto Spring, Olam, Toyota Ghana, B5 Plus and Pharmanova.
Winners Chapel in North Industrial Area will also be affected.
