Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have been charged by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over “inciteful” comments posted on the club’s social media page.
The post followed the goalless draw against FC Samartex on Matchday 11 in the 2025/26 GPL.
The charge against the Porcupine Warriors concerns a breach of Section 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2025.
“The Club is alleged to have published comments on social media that were inciteful and posed a risk of violence against the match official, which constitutes misconduct that brings the game into disrepute.”
They have until Wednesday, November 26 to respond to the charge.
