The Ghana National Fire Service on Friday, Nov. 28 launched a fire safety outreach in the Kukuom township ahead of the festive and Harmattan seasons.
Led by District Safety Officer STNOII Issack Ahemah, personnel from the Kukuom Fire Station visited shops and business centers to educate traders and residents on preventing fires and responding to emergencies.

The team emphasized safe electrical practices, proper housekeeping, and emergency preparedness, while also demonstrating how to operate fire extinguishers effectively. Officers highlighted common fire causes and urged the public to prioritize safety at home and at work during the high-risk period.
