The Bafana Bafana of South Africa have announced a final pre-AFCON preparation game with the Black Stars.
The friendly match, to be played on Tuesday, December 16, forms part of preparations of the 1996 champions for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be held in Morocco.
Hugo Broos’ side are preparing for the continental tournament, which begins Sunday, December 21.
The Bafana Bafana, who won Bronze at the last edition held in La Cote d’Ivoire, will play against record champions Egypt, Angola and neighbours Zimbabwe in Group B, starting Monday, December 21.
The friendly in Gauteng, therefore, is expected to be the final preparatory game before the team enplanes for Morocco.
Ghana will, however, watch from home as they missed participation in this year’s edition.
Angola and Sudan qualified ahead of Ghana.
