Entrepreneur and women empowerment advocate, Grace Afadu has been honoured with the Inspiring Woman of the Year award at the prestigious Ghana Business and Heroes Awards, in recognition of her unwavering passion for empowerment, social impact, and dedication to uplifting others—particularly women.

The award ceremony, held on Saturday, 27th December 2025, at the World Trade Center, Accra, brought together business leaders, innovators, policymakers, and change-makers from across the country to celebrate individuals whose work continues to shape Ghana’s socio-economic development.

The event was held under the theme “Building Ghana through Enterprise and Leadership: Recognizing the Pioneers of Innovation, Resilience, and Sustainable Development”.

Grace Afadu’s recognition highlights her consistent commitment to providing assistance of all kinds and empowering individuals to make informed decisions that positively transform their lives and place them in the societal limelight.

Her work has focused strongly on helping people become better versions of themselves, with a particular emphasis on empowering females to unlock their full potential.

Over the years, Grace Afadu has championed empowerment initiatives across education, career development, and relationship guidance, areas she believes are fundamental to personal growth and long-term success.

Through mentorship, advocacy, and practical support, she has helped many individuals—especially young women—gain clarity, confidence, and direction in their personal and professional lives.

“This award is a huge validation of the tireless efforts and sacrifices made to empower women in Ghana. It motivates me to keep pushing boundaries and inspiring others to join the movement,” Grace Afadu told journalists after the award.

“Excited to launch Transformational Women Network in 2026. We’re transforming women’s lives by tackling addictions, abuse, promoting entrepreneurship, and fixing marital issues. Planning a rehab & training center to make it happen. Grateful for supporters like Hon. Ebenezer Nartey, Engineer Francis Afadu, Mr John Afadu, and Global Poly Ghana Ltd etc. Thanks Ghana Business and Heroes Awards for this honor.”

Her interventions in education have supported informed academic choices and lifelong learning, while her career-focused empowerment has guided individuals to make strategic decisions that enhance employability, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

In the area of relationships, Grace has also been a strong voice for healthy decision-making, emotional intelligence, and self-worth, all of which contribute to holistic personal development.

Speaking on the recognition, observers at the event described Grace Afadu as a compassionate leader whose impact extends beyond personal success to meaningful societal transformation.

Her honour at the Ghana Business and Heroes Awards serves not only as a celebration of her achievements but also as an inspiration to others committed to service, mentorship, and community development.

The Inspiring Woman of the Year award places Grace Afadu among a distinguished group of honourees whose work continues to advance innovation, resilience, and sustainable development in Ghana, reinforcing the critical role of women in national progress.

She is super passionate about helping and empowering others, especially single ladies, to make informed decisions that boost their lives and bring them into the spotlight.

Her focus areas are education, career, and relationships.

Over 10 years, 200 plus ladies have benefited from employment support, educational support, relationship talks, marriage counseling, and career guidance.

She has given hope, restored abilities, and equipped them to be resourceful.
