The Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has led an expanded two-day stakeholder engagement to deepen discussions on Ghana’s flagship Agenda 111 health infrastructure programme.
The meeting focused on findings from an audit of the programme conducted by Audit and Evaluation Services Limited, giving key stakeholders the opportunity to review outcomes, seek clarification and align on critical issues arising from the report.
Participants also examined proposals for the introduction of a Special Purpose Vehicle management system for hospital equipment, a measure expected to improve efficiency, maintenance and value for money across health facilities nationwide.
Officials said the extended engagement reflects government’s commitment to transparency and accountability, while ensuring the long-term sustainability of major investments in the health sector.
