The Bono Region Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has been flown out of the country for medical care.
According tO a report from his party, Abronye DC’s health has deteriorated since ebeing detained by the police.
It will be recalled that on Monday, Mr. Abronye was arrested by the police for allegedly describing an Adenta Circuit Court judge as a “political judge”.
During his time in police custody, the NPP Bono Regional Chairman reportedly requested access to his doctors but that request was turned down.
As a result, after his release from police custody, he was flown abroad to seek urgent medical attention due to deteriorating health.
He was accompanied by his wife, Portia Acheampong, and Dr. (Mrs.) Edwina Baffoe James, who will oversee his health during the period.
