Black Stars Head Coach Carlos Queiroz is expected to announce his 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Monday, June 1.
This hint was given by the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Saturday, May 23 following the team’s 0-2 loss to Mexico.
Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku had stated that the objective of the Mexico friendly had been achieved and the 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists are in a position to name their squad.
“The World Cup squad announcement is scheduled for June 1st,” he wrote on Facebook.
“Let’s maintain our collective support for our stars.”
Ghana will begin their campaign in Group L against Panama before later taking on England and Croatia.
