Ghanaian Tik Toker Camilla Alhassan has been handed a one-year prison sentence by an Accra Circuit Court for pleading guilty to publication 9f fals information about President John Dramani Mahama.
Camilla Alhassan was picked up by police for alleging that President Mahama buried 32 cows as part of rituals to win the December 7, 2024 elections.
She was, therefore, charged with offensive conduct and the publication of false news.
She pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to one-year imprisonment.
A pregnancy test was conducted before that sentence was given by the judge.
