The Member of Parliament for Tano North, Dr Gideon Boako, has donated GH¢20,000 as seed money to the Tano North Pragia Association at Duayaw Nkwanta to support the group in securing the necessary licence to operate legally.
According to Dr Boako, the support forms part of his commitment to empowering local groups and creating opportunities for residents to operate within the law and contribute meaningfully to the local economy.
The Tano North MP also visited and supported some young footballers in the constituency as part of efforts to encourage them to develop their talents and pursue opportunities through sports.
He described the young players as future football legends and urged them to remain committed to honing their skills.
Dr Boako said he remains committed to supporting initiatives that empower residents and contribute to the socio-economic development of the Tano North Constituency.
He stressed that such interventions are necessary to create opportunities for people, particularly young people, to realise their potential.
