Addressing the executives who paid a courtesy call on him following Saturday’s NPP regional elections, Dr. Bawumia said the party must move past internal competition and focus on the bigger battle ahead.
“The election is over, you’ve had competitors, let us come together. The real election is 2028 let’s put everybody’s talents to use. We must use everybody’s talents,” he told the new Greater Accra Regional executives led by Chairman Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye.
Dr. Bawumia also pledged to work with all factions – both winners and losers of Saturday’s election.
“I’m open to work with everybody. Everybody,” he assured.
The new Greater Accra executives include Joana Adda.Frances as 1st Vice, Prince Obeng as Organiser, Moses Abor as Youth Organiser, Grace Acheampong as Women Organiser and Jeff Kasim as Nasara Organiser.
The Greater Accra remains a key battleground for the NPP, and Dr. Bawumia’s meeting signals early moves to consolidate the region.
