The girls’ dormitory of the Odumaseman Senior High School located in Odumasi in the Sunyani West Municipality in Bono Region can now boast of a mechanised borehole water facility constructed by the Managing Director of SIC Life Savings & Loans, Amma Frimpomaa Dwumah. Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi has quarantined himself after an official working closely with him tested positive for Covid-19, a government statement says. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reached an agreement with government to provide a monthly stipend to 500 female footballers for the next six months, starting this month. The agreement was announced by the President of the FA, Kurt Okraku, during the GFA’s Executive Council meeting on Tuesday. Two persons are in the grips of the Northern Regional Police Command of the Ghana Police Service for failing to comply with impositions on wearing of nose masks. The two, Isaiah Sunrise, 25, and Ibrahim Musah, 60, were arrested on Thursday, July 2 at the forecourt of the Regional Police Headquarters in Tamale. Both suspects have since been handed over to the RCID for investigation. According to a statement released by the Command, the two have since been charged and granted bail.
