Ecobank Ghana Limited has refuted reports that a High Court has granted a request for the seizure of its properties at its head office in Accra over refusal to honour a debt obligation. The two suspects arrested by the military in Damongo for allegedly possessing firearms have been granted bail by the Bole Magistrate Court presided over by His Worship Andrew Prince Cudjoe. The two, Inusah Iddisah and Salifu Abubakar, pleaded not guilty to the charge of unlawful possession of firearms. They were consequently granted bail of GH¢2,000 each with one surety. The Bono Regional Police Command has arrested seven persons in connection with the voter registration-related disturbances that led to the death of a 28-year-old teacher trainee graduate at Banda on Monday, July 13.
