US President Donald Trump has announced that he is terminating the country’s relationship with the World Health Organization (WHO). The president has accused the WHO of failing to hold Beijing to account over the coronavirus pandemic. “China has total control over the World Health Organization,” the president said while announcing measures aimed at punishing Beijing. The latest number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Ghana is 7,616, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has stated. This follows a total of 208,328 tests conducted over the entire period since the disease was first recorded in Ghana on Thursday, March 12. Out of the total confirmed cases, 2,421 have recovered with 34 losing their lives. As a result, the country has 5,161 active cases being treated at various centres with the Ga East Municipal Hospital the biggest treatment facility.
