South Korea’s intelligence agency has said rumours about Kim Jong-un’s health were groundless, and there are no signs he had heart surgery. The North Korean leader recently went 20 days without appearing in public, and missed the celebration of his grandfather’s birthday – one of the biggest events of the year. Some media reports claimed he was “gravely ill”, or even dead. But he then appeared at a fertiliser factory – apparently in good health. What did South Korean intelligence say? The head of South Korea’s intelligence agency, Suh Hoon, spoke to a parliamentary committee on Wednesday. He said there…

The song has seen counter jabs and reactions from Freda Rhymz (released…
Imagine a room filled with only one lit candle but nine hundred and ninety nine dead ones. That room will appear dim. When this lit candle lights up the dead ones, the room becomes brighter because a thousand candles will shine far brighter than a single candle will. That aside, if a lit candle’s light goes out, there will always be another lit one that can light it up. This is the whole concept of mentorship— to light up dead candles! If you are a great personality today, the key to the future is to raise people like you. If…

A sign language interpreter at GNAD, George Pinto, said these in an interview in the Ghanaian Times in Accra last week. He said per the 2010 Population and Housing Census, there were…
