The Ghana Police Service is already anticipating a lockdown of some major cities in Ghana due to the increasing spate of the coronavirus pandemic. The Service has put in place a deployment strategy for a lockdown if it is announced by government. The National Treasurer of the People’s National Convention (PNC) says Ghanaians should tread with caution in their calls for a total lockdown as a result of the deadly coronavirus pandemic. The exercise allotted numbers to the contesting aspirants for them to commence their respective campaigns. The number of confirmed cases of the deadly coronavirus in Ghana is 68, according to the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service.
