Former Executive Secretary to the Inter Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) Charles Cromwell Nanabanyin Onuawonto Bissue has stated that he is prepared to wait on the Special Prosecutor for even ten years and more if that is how long it will take for him to finish investigations on him. He observed that his patience hinges on the fact that “the SP will find nothing incriminating against me because I served as the Executive Secretary with all the good intentions to ensure that the vision of President Nana Addo to sanitize the small scale mining sector is realized”. “You will…
As kids, we used to fantasize about big dreams. Mine was to go to the university one day. As time passed, I got to realize it was no big dream after all. Everyone attended university. Instead, I was the one perceiving such as a big dream because of where I found myself— my environment. There were only a few graduates… and those few were literally adored. Later in life, I have become very careful about what I refer to as ‘big dreams’. When one says their big dream is to be rich, for instance, I ask, “Rich according to whose…

Speaking on TV3’s Midday Live on Saturday, the GUTA official said the way President Akufo-Addo is perceived to handle his tasks is a marked departure from the way the health authorities are handling Ghana’s preparations towards an outbreak of the deadly disease. Mr Opoku Acheampong made…
First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo has admonished companies to strive to make the wellbeing of members of communities that nestle around their operations their priority. Indeed, national development does not rest with the government alone. We must all play our part towards a healthy and prosperous nation,” she urged. She therefore applauded Gold Fields for the numerous social interventions it has instituted which are aimed at improving…
