The Ghana Railway Company Limited (GRCL) has announced the suspension of Takoradi-Tarkwa commercial service with effect from Monday, March 2. The service began on Monday, February 10 and has been running on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. First class rides go for GH¢10 with second class ride going for GH¢8. Management of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has sent a strong warning to students who engaged in a Saturday dawn fight between Atlantic Hall and Oguaa Hall that they will be brought to book. The fight led to some students injured and several property vandalised. Several property were left vandalized and some students injured as a free-for-all fight erupted between students of Atlantic Hall (ATL) and Oguaa Hall of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Friday night.
